This workshop is aimed at people who are interested in the workings of theatre. Participants will meet people from Maiden Thought Theatre’s production team who will introduce them to the steps that are necessary to put on a stage play, including developing a working script and dramaturgical concept, organising auditions and the rehearsal process, designing and making costumes and makeup, stage construction and design, lighting the stage, PR etc. The goal of this workshop is to give an overview and basic knowledge of the skills and tasks involved in the production process of stage plays in general, or to advise and support planned or running productions of amateur groups.
